For a few reasons, but the most common one is that the company treats us all as reserves once we check in. So it's not uncommon to have our trip changed. But when they do that, it frequently triggers premium pay (150%). So we could end up working the exact footprint of the original pairing but make a lot more. And now that they are paying 150% just to fly your line and 200% to pick up extra, so the money is even better.

Yup, January 220tfp and counting, holding just below 90block (yeah 200%. DH)

(the 220 is not me, but it does go into our checking account!)

I flew my line last month and was paid 135 trips. This month will be 145 with the pay extension and 18 days off.
