It funny and strange to me that guys say things like "plus Army retirement" or "made xxx on bitcoin" or "57K in real estate"
No one cares that your great grandmother left you 110K. Seriously, no one. Heck, lets start listing our spouses salary also and maybe the snow shoveling money our 12yr olds made last winter.

I feel like I’m wasting a very lucrative career staying here after seeing some of these other posts. I keep telling myself the next contract will be industry standard.

This.
Stick to airline/aviation employment comparisons. Thanks to those who posted their Part 135 and Part 91 job salaries as well. It could really put things in perspective for those wondering whether to stay corporate or go airline… or vice versa.

Atlas 6/7 year 767 CA
W2 $251,000
401k match $11,000
Per Diem $14,000
Total 276k (including per diem)
215 hours block
average 6 overnights per month
live in base and bid reserve
picked up OT every other month
new contract was in effect 9/1 and leaves a lot to be desired but improvements have already been made
wouldnt have the energy or desire to pick up extra if I didn’t live in base.
2022 should be around 300k with similar effort.

Hello, fellow FedEx guy here. I'm trying to wrap my head around this also....I knew some of our guys were putting up big numbers, but my assumption was that they were working for it! You said you extended a lot but also averaged only 10 days or so a month? I know folks were extending frequently (especially during early COVID), but the price for that was a long blue line on the calendar.
