The answer is no,

So, $343,000 is my gross pay. Which is what the company paid me to show up for work this year. With that money I chose to put $26,000 into my 401k. I also bought a car should I subtract that from my salary. I don't get your point.
I put in $26,000 into my 401k cuz I'm over 50
The company puts in 33 percent of the bonus flight pay into the 401k which is $23,420
Then the company match is $15,080 Which equals the $64,500 which is the federal max for 401k plans
Hopefully that answers the question.

Default corporate example

G550 Lead Pilot Northeast.
$270 Salary
+7% 401k match
+$100k realized stock bonus for the year (normally a $30-40k paid bonus though).
Uniform, phone, sport tickets, usually some big corporate gift, very generous expense account.
Good enough medical.
Flew about 200 hours (normally 250) to very nice places.
Rarely a business trip less than a week out--know 75%+ of our vacation trips month+ out (airline home from some of them).
Maybe 70 nights away.
Starting corporate salaries have probably gone up 6+% a year for the past 5 years. Definitely hearing of $300+salaries.
Very nice people.

Allegiant FO
Year 2/3. Mostly year 2 pay.
126K Includes per diem and a few K of profit sharing.
12K 401K
138K total

500ish hours block
1 month of ETO paid at 45hrs
1 month furloughed but back paid thanks to CARES act.
1 month not on the line while getting requalified after furlough.
No idea how many days I actually worked. Some months I hustled and others I worked so little I started to forget my flows and callouts.
Mostly reserve but a few months of holding a line.
7 nights in a hotel not including training.
Live in a senior base where I sit 14% off the bottom. Could make quite a bit more if I move to a jr base.
Also, our contract is 5 years old and up for re negotiation.
