Our kitchens were closed down most of last year so if we received a "shelf stable" meal, which was some pasta, energy bar, some kind of bean/grain bowl and a couple other things, we were paid $50 per occurrence since it wasn't a contractual meal. I think I made almost $1000 off of that.

In all seriousness, it’s crazy to think that DC for y’all is my yearly income.
Lots of us have been there. I flew checks way back in the day for $1,000 a month gross. No bennies either. My paycheck was a disgrace to paychecks.

My numbers are in line with the others. I worked more than my legacy counterparts and brought home more money. Big shock. I set a personal record this year but will probably break even with 2019 after profit sharing.

Everyone here should note that the taxpayers picked up the tab for our services this year. If you had asked me last year what this thread would look like right now, I would have predicted sadness and anger (except for FedEx and UPS guys). We are all very blessed and lucky to be in the position we are in right now. Here's to green pastures ahead for the whole industry.

Hear hear!! Thanks to the taxpayers for keeping food on the table this year. Well said!

Of course, everyone maintains the legal status quo. Don’t even know what you’re talking about.

I think that most RJ and military pilots that have good records can go to the legacies/SWA/Ups and FedEx.

But those ACMi carriers were hiring before and it was a good alternative and more money for the regionals. But like always, once you’re in the company 5+ years, some won’t like to take a pay and seniority cut. I have a friend in Atlas CA that made 45k last month working the system with their new contract.

It will be interesting the next couple of years.

I disagree, I’m not talking about a job action. Everyone has a choice, to a certain degree, to fly their line.
