What was the nature of the operational extension they expected you to take? Were you back in base and they JM'd you and said you don't have a day off anymore? Or did you break down or duty out somewhere and have to operate the next day?

It was not for refusal of an operational extension. You opined as that would be the only reason you could think of. If I led you to think by my reply I encountered that, my apologies. That was not the issue.

BTW stating every airline can extend you into a day off is miss leading. Although most can in extreme situations, some have a lot more protection than others. Avelo has none.

I had trip removed (A) with lower paying one (B) & then happened a second time (c). I was pay protected for B and lost the original pay I had in A. It happened multiple times in one month. Documented proof meant nothing.

First they claimed I wasn't entitled to pay protection, which was false . OK, then how come I was pay protected for B? No answer.

Then the big WHOPPER by the CP

He told me to my face reserves are built 5 on ,5 off. You will get 15 days off. I was considering bidding another base which would put me on reserve.

Less than two weeks later, boom, changed it to 12 days off.

HVN @ night in winter with contaminated runway not reported because tower is closed?

"At the time of the accident, the first officer had only 18 hours in the Boeing 737 and most of his
previous experience was operating light aircraft. Thus, his lack of experience flying jet aircraft
likely played a role in his inadequate monitoring of the approach (his lack of experience was
also exemplified by his failure to note, as part of his monitoring duties, that the speedbrake
handle had not been armed after calling the item as part of the Landing checklist)."

Ok well that’s why it’s a captain landing, also that accident should have never occurred many things were overlooked. Pressured by time because of delays was the culprit.
