Please substantiate this claim. Otherwise I'm calling bull$hit.

With 5 737, how is Mesa a top-tier operator?

And paying more is a stretch... year 1 FO is higher, but Avelo has a $20 jump year 2.

BTW, I am not advocating Avelo, their crew scheduling is atrocious and is likely skimming checks, especially now with all of the protected pay from Ft Myers trips.

Don't listen to this guy. I’d still choose Avelo over Mesa lol

Maybe, maybe not. One un-supported rant on an internet forum certainly doesn't get there. It's been a long time with very few Avelo pilots complaining, so with that poster being a one piece puzzle who knows?

It’s bull****, I’ve never not been paid for any work done, pay protection has always been right. No one I fly with has this view of Avelo and if there is one with this mentality please quit.

One person on this forum complaining out of the 129 on the current pilot list. Not sure we would have the numbers for a vote.

Breeze did, and they only allowed active pilots to vote (alpa rule), nobody in training. The vote was 29-21 !!

I have worked for several non union airlines a well as a global ALPA airline. The pay system can be a little complicated, but I have found if there is an error ,bring it up and it gets fixed. Avelo is by far not even close to a sleazy non union airline. It's going though start up pains, but sure appears they are trying to be fully transparent and do the right thing.

If you think Avelo is sleepy, then you've never worked for a true sleazy outfit.
