A wide background, time doesn’t make you a good pilot or someone that has the one crew mentality.

You can teach people how to fly but you can never teach a positive attitude. That paraphrases what kind of people they are looking for.

I figured they would want experience at this early stage to get started blended in with the low time career starter (stepping stone pilot).

In late 2021, they were interviewing pilots with 1000 hours jet SIC time, perhaps less. But that was before they made a big increase to their pay rates in January.

I stopped by their booth at the WIA event last month and chatted with the head of pilot recruiting. She said at the moment they are only interviewing pilots who have a 737 type rating.
