I have to say your first sentence would have me running far far away from this place. Not only that it isn’t unionized but that people who fly for them don’t see a need for one.
The people running that place have a history, and that history is shouting that you need a union.

I understand unions may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but in a seniority list environment there is too much leverage on management to not have one.
How many times have you heard “if you don’t like it leave”? I’ve heard it my whole career. Hard to do when it involves a full reset of pay, seat and bidding. At least with a union you can deny an aircraft no problem or rely on work rules not to change on a whim.
Your COO unilaterally forced PBS on Allegiant because they didn’t have a union. Food for thought.
