Union? Training?
Do the pilots already have a union, or are y'all free ballin' it?
Also, how "long" is the training footprint? I see you just got on a month ago, and still saying you're going to return to the "school house"?
Lastly, bit of a discrepancy between posters, but one says return to the school house, implying in person, and another says all virtual/Teams?

I have to say your first sentence would have me running far far away from this place. Not only that it isn’t unionized but that people who fly for them don’t see a need for one.
The people running that place have a history, and that history is shouting that you need a union.

I want to revisit his post in about 3 years (if Avelo is even around) and see how this has aged.

A union will probably come down the road. But why would we unionize right now. We are home every night with 14-16 days off a month and credit around 90 hours. Maybe you should stay away. Our flight attendants decided to have a union and ask them how it’s working out for them right at this moment.
Unless the company is trying to take advantage of you and not doing what is right for their employees then it’s time to think about a union. For now it’s not needed
