Any chance they'll make FNL a base? Or is that a hopeless dream of mine? I'd apply in an instant.

There’s an NG pilot association… cool.

If I fly the Classic or the MAX, do I just need differences training to join?

You will receive training on the series the airline was certified on in accordance with the the airlines’ Flight Operation Training Manual. You will receive differences training by a read or CBT or Ground School as appropriate.

I received an offer for CQFO, I’m a captain on the 737 now, I was wondering what the insight on how this program is exactly working?

From what I have seen so far you are qualified through sim and OE as a Captain with the expectation that you will move into the left seat fairly quickly. Many have been moved to captain upon completion of OE while a few have flown as FO for a couple months to get comfortable with the ops or waiting on added equipment to justify the need. The main goal is that you do not need upgrade training as would a straight FO.

Any info floating around regarding the app window? As many as they must have received with that compensation change and the number they need to hire makes you wonder if they will need to open it any time soon.

Any idea about how the payment for CQFO would be?

Are they just hiring people with 737 type or CQFOs? I actually interviewed and got the TBNT email. I have around 5k with fair amount of turbine PIC. Kind of weird because I thought it went pretty good. Today they’re advertising Australian visa pilot program with wide open spots for them to signup and interview. Bit of a punch in the gut.
