Guilty. Idiot here. Posted a mediocre W2. Nearly 7 months at home with the family. Planted a garden. Raised a puppy. Volunteered for charity. Replastered a pool. Went to cooking school online. Dropped food off for Meals on Wheels. Got a glider rating. Took Russian lessons. Started taking guitar lessons. Put in a 200 ft long French drain. Hmmmm. Spent my first year as a CFI logging 925 hrs at 7K a year. In 1994. Slogged MU2s single pilot dragging checks at night for 1100 hours. 6 years enlisted USAF. Fracs. Regionals. Masters degree. 25 years professional pilot. So if I’m you’re definition of an idiot, cool.

No, I meant the people who look at a thread about W-2's and then complain that people are posting their W-2's.
The first sentence was from a previous poster, it didn't have a box around it when I posted like I expected.

better than what I usually hear from most pilots when we talk about what we’ve been doing during our time off from work

The common answer from many is “Drank beer, played video games all day. Listened to the wife ***** a storm about playing games all day when she gets home from work “

most of my cares money went into meat - brisket, ribs, butts. Ruined a lot of it since I took up smoking in march. 9 month later it’s starting to be edible so possible progress? or more evidence of futility?..., Oh and I bought a boat. Oh you mean I’m not supposed to be out on the water when I’ve got meat in the smoker? Well I guess back to video games then...

2019: $260k
2020: maybe $38k doing DoorDash and the past few months doing some contract flying.

Stimulus check?? Not for me, income was too high in 2018/19. Definitely an oversight when that bill was written.
