Yup! They have won their class before at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Pretty sure more than once as well.

Not as much as those idiots running ______ (insert any trans-Pacific airline here)!

They’re clearly abandoning BILLIONS of dollars out there by refusing to fly the multitudes of customers clambering to fly to China and other Asian nations. It’s a “cold”, “overblown”, and deliberate “fear mongering” by the media.

Whether the virus is a real crises or not is not the issue. The reaction certainly is real. All the lamentations of the brilliant epidemiologists here on APC aren’t gonna change that.

What does your post have to do with Miatas?

Fine. China shut down. That cannot be ignored. Doesnt make this virus what the news wants us to believe. And there are some that really want there to be an economic crash.

Miata owners are probably not those people. I never accused them of being in that group

And I say this as a 20 year F150 driver... who is ready for my Tesla cybertruck to show up.

If it is or isn’t, it’s the only sports car we can afford.

Total shutdown is highly unlikely, so chill. As for furloughs, maybe they’ll offer some early outs for us geezers.😷

A sports car is a car that's designed for driving fun and pleasure. It's not about luxury, muscle, efficiency, long distance cruising. It's about having fun on a winding, curvy road. A Miata is a sports car. A mustang is a muscle car. An Aston is a grand tour, a Bentley is a luxury car.

Covid19 fear is overblown. Buy cheap stocks while the fear has depressed the stock market. Be greedy when everyone else is fearful
A 911 or corvette is a sports car! The Miata is a roller skate. You need two and some chewing gum.
