this is just a strain of the common cold. People die every year of influenza. 29k so far this year alone per the CDC...get over it! Stop picking your nose for two months and you'll be fine

exactly. This is all the media. And the general public is just eating it up like birthday cake. Unfortunately it has gone a lot further than just people getting sick now that the media outlets have instilled fear in everyone. How come they aren’t taking about the close to 40k people who are back to normal life after getting it? Because that’s positive? What a shame.

Coved 19 is a big deal mainly because, as a virus, antibiotics won’t work. “Viruses insert their genetic material into a human cell's DNA in order to reproduce. Antibiotics cannot kill viruses because bacteria and viruses have different mechanisms and machinery to survive and replicate. The antibiotic has no “target” to attack the virus.” Source: JAMA.

I believe that the fear of the virus is seriously overblown. It's worse than the standard cold and flu, but I don't think we are headed for a global recession.
If you believe that to be true, I would suggest throwing some extra money into the stock market. I believed stocks have been slammed more than they should, and it appears to have presented a good buying opportunity. Or at the very least, significantly increases your 401k contribution percentage and take advantage of stocks being on sale
