Fair enough, you mean you believe there will not be thousands of cases in the US when it’s all said and done?

The total number of active cases has been in decline for days. Media is the enemy.

FUN FACT, intra asia pax numbers down 61%. What do you think will happen when not if when it gets out in the US??? Fear like you have never seen. 20% is my guess and AA chap 11 if this goes past Dec based on asia numbers. Ive spend half of each month there its really that bad.

Wait one second....

we went from a 2019 eggplant measuring contest to being furloughed. The “end of 2019 salary survey” hasn’t even made it off the first page of this forum. Settle down.

This place worse than any media outlet out there.

That being said, who cares if you get furloughed. You all made a butt load of money so you guys should easily be able to weather a few months. Or years..

I don’t think any of the US carriers will furlough but could this be the nail in the coffin for an airline like Norwegian?

Does AA have that significant of a presence in Asia to justify bankruptcy? From what I've been told, many of the China routes were unprofitable to begin with. UAL would, at least on paper, suffer more due to international flights being axed.

The point is what will happen when intra-US flying also go down?
If intra-US went down even half that, 30%, for any significant time, it would be catastrophic.

It’s just media bridging the gap.

Saturday is S.C. election then Super Tuesday. Then it’s full on election coverage until November. Everyone will have forgotten about corona by the end of April.
