Crewbus rumors have a handful of FO's (FO'S!) on pace to clear 7 figures this year. Crazy times....

Some people are full of crap. When you crunch those numbers they just don’t work. Only the biggest *****s in the left seat will make it over that line. Of course when you subtract out the value of having a life, many people would say they lost out.

I’ve heard it from the mouth of at least 2 captains that they will make 7 figures this year, I agree it would be pretty much impossible from the right seat. But as far as being gone a lot and losing out on life, 2020 has been a **** show so far so thankfully they didn’t miss much.

DL had a few A350 CAs who cracked 7 figures back in 2018 but that took quite a bit of doing. Most of them were bought of trips for OE and flew a GS on top of that or got conflict drop premium trips.

for a 15 year WB FO at FDX to get to 7 figures one would have to credit 4,348 hours in a year or over 360 hours a month

Post-Covid we have some captains able to average 200 credit hours a pay period. Probably a few guys who have been able to significantly beat even that. To exceed $1,000,000 you would need roughly 2,900 credit hours. In the current environment, some guys will. Personally, I’m not at a phase of my life where the juice is worth the squeeze. If it is for them, more power to them.

I think allowing the China flying to not count against the cap may have been a misstep.

A friend of mine, not in aviation, used to say, “If it can’t be done working 24 hours a day, then start working nights.”

This is going to **** everyone off, but...

Reasonably reliable source personally knows a fedex CA who got stuck on a re-route train all month. He's going to make close to $100k this month alone.

Good time to be a cargo dog.

Lots of reroutes and canceled/pay protected pairings at some of the pax carriers from Mar-August or so. I heard of one JB CA who credited over 400 hours in July. Over $100k. A lot of my friends were crediting 120-140 and only working like 7-10 days after all their cancelations. It’s all dried up for now though.
