Other professionals dont flex in public and then advertise it as "good information".

Yup..my wife is a highly paid professional as well, and her peers keep to the old belief that what one earns is not a topic for open conversation. I asked her one time if she discusses her income with others when at seminars and gatherings of her peers...her response was "what, no...that would be ridiculous and totally unprofessional"

why don’t you brag for her. Days worked and gross. I knew a neurosurgeon who was Uber jealous of the amount of time I had off, his wife claimed I worked fewer days in a month, around 10, than he had off all year, but he made near 1mil

Dude. She works super long days every day and is on call nearly 24/7. I do not envy her one little bit. We'll be watching a movie with the fam at 11 PM on Christmas Eve and she is sitting with her computer getting caught up on charting patients. We are all spoiled. She doesn't make anywhere near $1 mil.

Or a pilot group at company XXX that has to brag about their schedule, premium pay, to make up for other shortcomings, as if they are the only ones who have 2x time or vacation...

Then they put in an additional 33% of our Flight duty pay. Which was $16,738 for the year.
So $14000 + $16738 = $30,738

Cool story. Same work days and hours at any airline still out paces Netjets by A LOT. I like that the money is available for guys like you that like this job and want to work that much (schedule and volunteer), but if you left for any LCC, most ACMI/ULCC, and of course big Cargo and major and spent 194 days on the road (just look through this thread) you would find your still at about 60% of airline pay, with your one time bonus.
I just want to always make sure people realize, Netjets is good, but “holding” its own in compensation compared to same days away from home is just not factual.
That global PIC that was on road 200 days for 438k, would cry when he saw the days worked that Delta senior guys are doing to pull in the 700k-1m+. I would love to see them post their true statistics here.
