What’s even more funny is how people like you have to come here and tell others what is or isn’t useful to them. Plenty of people find this thread useful, some people don’t. I don’t understand what it is about this thread that people have to make it clear they don’t like it. Just don’t read this thread. #bye

It was total. I started the 401k about halfway through 2019.

And, I should clarify, that was about 6 mo of 1st year pay.

Yeah you’re correct. Talk to you next year when we have the 2020 flexing contest.

Dude relax. Go back to rolling your pennies and quarters. I believe I started because someone told a regional FO who made money working another job that his post was useless, that people could “care-less” and he’s just “flexing his muscles”. Give me a break.

Yet a fireman posted his income. How does that provide relevances to this thread?

Literally the information is useless. Anyone with a brain can determine that dudes at DAL/UAL/FDX/UPS/AA are going to be the highest earners. Yet people just posting line items off their W2 with no other information, and that’s amazing insightful information? Are you kidding?

How about bob making 400k “working” 15 days a month explains how you can beat the system and make that much money? Maybe a little insight to how to use your CBA to your advantage. My guess is, if he does that he will expose to his compadres a way to play the game there for making it harder for him to earn money. So yeah maybe some of these post are “slightly informational” half of them are not very informational yet people are just salivating over it. I’m sorry man, but listing off line items on your w2 and then simply stating “I worked 14 days a month”. Yah that’s useless. And to discredit a dude who made money working another job while flying is pretty bogus.

For example a UAL 737 cappy just posted a few numbers. In a post just above me. Please take the time to read it, then tell me where the “useful” information is? Change my mind, make me believe that this thread is actually beneficial and will help me in the future.

As far as feeling smarter? Nah, I worked just as hard as everyone else. Made just as much money as the general population here. Doesn’t it make me feel smarter? Nope.

I thought the 737 ca above you posted very useful numbers. Appears to be general worker bee type numbers without any fluff or gamesmanship. To make that at Spirit it can be done but you have to play the game hard and be very flexible and bid/drop strategically in hopes of 200% trips that may or may not come. Not to mention we don’t have a retirement health contribution or profit sharing.

Helps me realize how far back we are and where we need to go. I find it quite helpful

I Agree. All information is helpful. Many of us are 10+ year Captains looking to see what our peers have so we can adjust our ask during the next bargaining session.

I appreciate those who have posted so I have a better grasp on what is available to me.
