Things passengers say.

Commuting in the night before on an A320 in uniform from MCO to DFW. I'm an RJ pilot. Delay, Delay, Delay. The CA comes on the intercom and says - Sorry folks we are about to time out. A hand rests on my shoulder, its a mainline CA behind me also commuting... "Are you legal to fly?".
My reply, laughing, "Not in this airplane, but is that how I move up to mainline?".

I also saw something once that is most likely made by us, by nothing that I know exists can move the way it did. I never said to assume it came from some alien life form, but there are things flying around that are absolutely in the realm of UFO to most everyone on earth. Chances are everything we see is manmade, just way beyond our comprehension.
Some quotes by the famous Ben Rich, former VP of Lockheed Martin and Director of their Skunkworks Division:
"We have things in the Nevada desert that are alien to your way of thinking, far beyond anything you see on Star Trek."
"Anything you can imagine we already know how to do."
“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity.”

I had no idea Ben Rich said those things. Do you have a source for that? I’d like to learn more. His book “Skunkworks” was absolutely fascinating.
In my 15 years of flying I’ve only seen one thing that was unexplainable and very strange. Interestingly, I was over the north NV desert at the time. I was flying a CRJ 700 at F380, and we saw an object WAY above us with a very bright strobe. It pulsed every 11 seconds, and didn’t move for the 15-20 mins we observed it. Finally it dimmed and went out. I’ve never heard a valid explanation for that one.

In CAE there was a young guy in the gate area wearing a gas mask and rubber gloves to protect himself from nerve agents, although he was in a tank top, shorts and flip flops. Passengers met us at the door to make sure we wouldn’t let him on.
He was kicked off an earlier flight because he agreed to take the gear off and put it back on after he boarded. I told him in order to board he would have to put the gear in a carry on and we would put it underneath and give it to him in ORD. When he tried to get past the gate he wouldn’t comply so we refused him.
Just prior to push the gate agent told us he said it was our fault that he was going to miss his court date in Chicago.

On a commute the other day in regular clothes I heard something I've never heard in my career. 2 little kids (prob around age 5) were sitting behind me with their mom.
I overheard the mom explaining to them prior to pushback "this is how you recline, this is how your seat belt works, and you have to keep it on ALL the time. Now, see this table? It folds down, but the man in front of you can feel it when you move it , so NEVER slam it up or down or it will move his seat. Now, the most important thing, don't EVER kick this seat in front of you. The man sitting in it will feel it and it will be very uncomfortable. You wouldn't want someone shaking your seat right? So don't do it to someone else"
Mom of the freaking year right there!
