I was thinking about that the other day when I saw they are lowering the PIC time. That would be nice. That would mean I am eligible again on Tuesday!!!
How 'bout if they even go further, and THEY pay for the type?
Now that's asking too much.

I meet all the SWA requirements including the 737 type, and put my SWA app in last week. Based on what I've heard, an interview is guaranteed. Do you guys agree? How long does usually take to get the invite?

Mins are silly. 11200 Total, 6600 in Boeings including 1200 in the 777 and 4600 in the 737, and I cannot even apply to SWA? What a joke.

jsled...how do you have over 11000 hours and not 1000 PIC? It may be none of my business, which is fine. I was just curious.

If you have the minimums and the type, I would say you are certain to get an interview. It took me 2 months to the day from the time I got the type until I was sitting in SWA HRO talking with the fine folks of SWA. Best of luck to you. Might as well start looking into the interview gouge.
