Wow the last flight of their season to Mexico so they told the passengers to find their own way home......

The sad thing here is that most of these customers booked on Sun Country because of the discounted airfare.

Pushing the burden onto the consumer is legal but not right. While this is an isolated event/company, this is the attitude I was accustomed to living in Minneapolis. I wouldn’t say this is the rule but definitely isn’t the exception either.

I suppose “Sub Service” is not in Sun Country’s vocabulary.

They saved some money by refunding the passengers instead of making other arrangements to fly them home. That decision looks to be much, much more expensive with the P.R. fallout.

Tacky, real tacky. They should have hired a charter if they didn't have a plane/crew if their own available. It would have been cheaper in the long run.

Apparently they don't have any arrangements with other airlines to cross-book during IROPs?

Not sure any of the LCCs do that. At least the pax paid a low price.
