Nwa Guys: Compass ???
Currently, I have been working for Comair for 9 yrs; 6 as PIC of CRJ 50. I live in Indianapolis and want to return to MSP, where I grew up. I applied at Compass, understanding that after 2 yrs as a Captain there, I would get an opportunity to work for NWA. I just wanted to know how the NWA pilots feel about Compass and if there is any ill will? Thanks

I already am a blind red headed step child at Comair. I had an interveiw at SWA in JAN 07, didn't get the call and I am not related to nor do I know anyone at the other major airlines. I am just tring to get back to MSP without commuting.

Whether they (NWA pilots) like Compass or not they agreed to its existence. All pilots have been recalled and many were asked if they would fly Compass and I think many said no. I wouldn't go there all giddy with the prospect of flying with NWA in the future.

You will probably have no problem with most of the NWA guys although I woudn't expect a real warm welcome. Most of the "yes voters" are flying big planes across big water, so any heat you feel from mainline will be in the domestic system. Man why would you want to work for NWA anyway?
