Currently, I have been working for Comair for 9 yrs; 6 as PIC of CRJ 50. I live in Indianapolis and want to return to MSP, where I grew up. I applied at Compass, understanding that after 2 yrs as a Captain there, I would get an opportunity to work for NWA. I just wanted to know how the NWA pilots feel about Compass and if there is any ill will? Thanks

Sounds like the interviews for Compass are now going to include a captains panel (of mainline pilots) and a 727 sim ride- all at the insistance of NWA management, since the flow through has the potential to put off the street Compass guys onto the NWA seniority list in a few years.
Guess that we'll find out in a few weeks after the first few interviews.

Actually that's not the way that I read it, or how it seems to be turning out based on the interview process.

But I have read the agreement, and seen a lot of other info first hand, and as far as I can tell (I'm no lawyer), the flow through applies to anybody employed at Compass that meets the time requirements.
Either way though, I wouldn't base an employment decision at Compass based wholly on the prospective of flow through to NWA. A lot can change in two years.
