You should inform Obama, he was on a crusade to close such places like ITT.

Why, if I am in support of some liberal policies, do I have to love all liberals and their actions? That's what is wrong with politics. "Oh, you want single payer health care? Then you must want to live in Communist Russia and want everyone to stand in bread lines! Burn him!"

Also, if they are better educated, why do we have long lines of international students awaiting H1B visas to study in US universities?

Check out "Capitol in the 21st century", lots of historical data. Low interest rates have over doubled the price of pensions and insurance. Corporations have responded by dropping pensions and greatly increasing their employees costs for medical coverage. Government budgets are controlled by elected officials, not the help, blame the right people. The USA is a great place if you can get an upper middle class or higher wage. There are better places to be poor. The best argument for single payer is in the fact that people who have it tend to live longer.

Curious, how do low interest rates double the price of pensions? The governments who create these policies surely must understand that during times low returns of investment, they must pay more to the funds to keep them solvent. It's basic math. Every state that has a failing pension neglected to adequately fund their pensions during these times.
Capitalism has been the greatest wealth generating system the world has known. People from around the world are trying to get to America. I recently spoke to a German, a professional, who has been trying and is unable. I don't know what utopia you think exists outside of America.
Lastly, we have a single payer healthcare system in the USA. It is called the US Department of Veteran's Affairs. Ask any vet or doctor who is involved with the VA and they'll tell you what a nightmare it is.

Piketty wrote the most comprehensive historical economic review. No other contemporary economist has covered a breadth of process and outcome nearly as well. Capalism motivates serfs to produce more for their master which produces greater wealth. It makes for a much more difficult life if you are not naturally competitive. Everyone in the USA thinks they are a temporarily embarresed billionaire.
