Kalitta and a new -400?

With the current state of uncertainty with the future of the company, coupled with a lack of communication from the company, gives most pilots a sense of uneasiness. With the majors starting to hire and the 2nd year pay at the majors approaching 100.00/hr along with a 14%+ contribution into the B funds makes it much easier for a lot of our pilots to bite the bullet and leave. I love it here at K4 but if United or UsAirways/American calls I would have to leave.

Existing crews...along with that was a curtailment announcement. Parking more classics going down to 30 crews on the classic, means about 25 pilots will have to go to the 400 and about 10 FEs furloughed. Unless the FEs can go to the Metro.

Just out of curiosity, my dad is on the classic and has been away for a while, but what will happen with the FEs that have been furloughed? Will they go to the -400 as F/Os or Captains as I've sometimes have heard, or will they have to find other "permanent" companies?
