Sim Yellers are normally instructors that lack any kind of real instruction skills, and are frustrated by that, and in turn take it out on the students. Very poor, ineffective way to teach people.

Dude, while I will agree that Maxjet was a yeller, the clipboard is a total urban legend. Never happened. His tenure in the sim occurred entirely within my own time as a check airman. If that had actually happened, there would have been serious repercussions from both CE and BR. And, we in the schoolhouse would have all known about it.

Clipboard? I didn’t use a clipboard. I stabbed them, then stomped on their heads. Once they regained consciousness, I made them clean up the blood. Just normal operating procedure for when people show up unprepared for the days lesson.

Now they use these so called instructor techniques of learning. Man, I don’t know how they get anything done nowadays. If I didn’t punch a student in the face at least once every other lesson they would have probably lost focus.
