From ah outsider’s perspective, I’m curious: if this current TA is ratified, why wouldn’t the company have an incentive to drag it out to last 10+ years? Particularly if the market shifts back to favor of pilots in a year or two. It would make sense that they would want to extract as much time as they can out of this.

That's what we're on now if we vote no.

There's no incentive to do that when they can do it with the current contract. That was the reality we were facing back in Nov if it weren't for an unexpected detente between the union and a small number of company officials. That was a unique situation, no one should expect a repeat.
Not going to happen. We will always lose pilots to the big five but we live in ACMI World. As long as we're taking pilots from Atlas/Southern and not the other way around the pilot market is not going to miraculously swoop in to force the company's hand.

If you are young and intend to make K4 your career and don’t vote to start a DC you are not thinking long term. If you are old, obviously the equation changes. Numbers I have seen based on a 20+ year growth of your account look very very good. As time goes on slowly up the DC. 20 years from now every FO should have at least 2-3 million and every CA 4-5. As a guy recently retired I can tell you, if you are debt free you will have way more money than you need.

15%! PLUS CASH OVER CAP! now that was funny....15%! I had say it again. Every airline with a 15% plus cash with a decent pay rate and work rules and medical costs and and and and..... would be a destination place to work.
Good luck. ACMI will never see those type of retirement numbers. Love it!
