I have no tolerance for the suggestion of an illegal job action. The offending comments have been removed. This will be the only warning. If you don’t like the way things are going, volunteer for a union position. Be the change you want to see. Otherwise, let’s be adults and do our jobs.

This is a great statement, “let’s be adults and do our jobs”.
That includes taking time to read the offer, before we decide if we are going to vote yes or no. Right now all we have is speculation on what the final language will be, and we don’t know the overall impact to our bottom line. At this juncture for anyone to say how they will vote, is ludicrous. Take the time to read the offer, then make an informed decision and vote accordingly.

Quick question for a potential new hire. Is Kalitta accepting new hires into the 777 without a the type or
do you still have to have a 777 type in order to get hired onto it?

My understanding is that there is no short course anymore so you don’t need 777 or Boeing time anymore. They’ve also cut back on hiring furlough pilots.

Last night we completed work on the TA..it is complete...all sections are signed by both parties and all revisions and reviews are complete.

The TA is now one book and will be presented next week to the MEC for their approval before going to the group for ratification.

The rollout time-line will be worked out next week

Once again , thru the hard work of our negotiating team and MEC volunteers we have a TA mere months after our last contract expired.
Well done!
