I'm going to assume that this is not trolling. As said above the answer is yes. Having said that I have done exactly two such flights in eleven years. Are there people who have flown more than that? I'm sure there are but it is still not something that happens that often and even then it most likely is only to take an aircraft to OSC for maintenance. It's not something to lose sleep over. Since we can't be junior assigned to trips here such flights would have to occur during your 16 days of work. They are much more likely to send you home a day or two early than they are to have you fly a Part 91 flight.

Hey Everyone,
I have an interview coming up and have been going through this forum learning more about the job. It seems like a great place to be and I'm excited to potentially be joining but, I have a couple questions.
First, if given the option, which aircraft would be better to choose as a new-hire, the 777 or the 747? The 747 fleet has more aircraft but with the growth of the 777 fleet, that may also seem like a good option.
Generally speaking, how long are layovers on the 777 versus the 747?
If hired, what would you recommend someone do to prepare for training, particularly for a pilot who has little international experience? Does the company give you materials before your start date?
Thanks guys for taking the time respond!

- The layovers are the same on both aircraft, more or less. Sometimes minimum rest, sometimes a week. The schedule is wildly unpredictable, so to put a number on it is impossible.
- There is little you can do for interview prep. It's famously short... if you get the call to interview, they just want to verify things with you. There is no compass test or sim eval anymore.
