This was a quote that you accepted. I was pointing out it was garbage. The Chinese government is not baring overnights.
You are a sensitive bunch when shown you are wrong.
The point was that different airlines have different permissions in China, be it entry/exit or landing permissions.

Actually the point is that until some crew members are will ing to either contact the FAA directly or call legitimate fatigue nothing will change. Again, realize that the companies response to a fatigue call will be to park you in a hotel and send you home with a 64 hour line guarantee as punishment. If you are fatigued because of operations then you are fatigued. To operate the aircraft is unsafe, unprofessional, and just asking to take the whole blame when something bad happens.

Spouting nonsense again.. called in fatigued after multiple rolling delays .. still had over 100 hrs of credit for the month. Too short on pilots to sit them out of spite.

Nonsense? Glad to read that! There should be no reason for anyone to not report fatigued when it is legitimate. So all the concern about safety is overblown. Thank you for your clarification and dose of reality. I will sleep better knowing that pilots are calling in fatigued and that the company is fulling supporting that.

Default 777

Thanks for the thread. What is the moral and quality of life these days as a 777F FO? How many ultra long sectors on a 16 day rotation? Any information about 777 life is appreciated. Thanks.

Most of the duty days would be about 18 hrs. Plan on at least 1 or 2, 22-24 hr duty day per rotation. All international is double crew and some 2CA/2FO.
longest flights are about 14.5 hrs

or you could apply at Atlas and have shorter duty days. Also, flights over 16 hours pay 125% like FDX. MIA/ICN is our only current leg over 16.

Hard to say what it’s going to be going forward. I’m a 74 guy…but we’re getting a bunch of 777s and they’ll be doing a lot of what was our (747) more desirable flying in my opinion.

Not quite true. I have done three man international and even a few basic crew flights. I am about to operate Nagoya to LAX with just three of us. It would be true to say that most international flights are operated by 4 pilots though.
