Is this Mesa/freedom stuff we’re talking about? if so I fail to see the relevance as well. Just to be clear, I was taking the pi** out of everyone’s (including my own) enthusiasm from a year ago. Don’t know how it got turned into this.

Check the freedom A listers
There is a list of pilots out there that went to a new entity freedom airlines created by management in order toncircumvent negotiations and not pay a decent contract to the line pilots ..Some jumped on the opportunity to be captains out of seniority during section 6 and yes he did that.
Assume Kallitta starts a new 777 certificate while you are section 6 and you only flying 727 at that point while you negotiating rates for the 777 coming
And some FOs go for the upgrade out of seniority while you are negotiating rates
Me me and all about me
That’s what he did
Talking about integrity
But hey he brags about his 400k salary instructor and checkairman status
No respect from me
Money does not buy respect

It is just a side note now, but the previous Mesa contract has bulletproof scope language that certain other carriers wished they had. Freedom was before my time at Mesa and apparently it still brings up hard feelings. The only thing I could connect to what might be relevant to us today is wasting negotiating capital on certain things. The bullet proof scope language as I was told, took up all of their negotiating capitol so another freedom would never exist, even to the point that pilots and FA's footed the bill for KCM..
When I made that meme, it was from a simple request. I am friends with Maxjet and in no way wanted to tag him in any of this stuff.

My friend either got a call or made a phone call today and was told to expect a phone call mid February for a possible March interview.
I've personally have run into people (FO's) who are moving elsewhere, and with the seat lock removed, I would expect to see classes for all fleet types. But what do I know?
