Just remember, you are getting a regional job. No better. JetBlue is an alright place to hang around at for a few years while building time for Fedex, U.P.S, any of the network carriers, Southwest, or any of the good jobs in aviation.
EMB-190 first year FO pay $47
EMB-190 max captain pay $94 (less than Mesa for an even larger plane!
A320 pays reasonable. Some people will point out it is in line with United, US Air, and Northwest, but remember the A320 is either the smallest (or second smallest) aircraft for each of these companies. And that is after they have taken something like 40-50% pay cuts. I'd assume those rates will be coming up in the near future. Regardless, even at today's rate, you can max out over $50,000 a year higher at any of those companies. That adds up over 20 years (about a million dollars)

I don't disagree with your opinion on pay rates, they are kinda low. I interviewed at Jet Blue after my furlough and got turned down....hmm. Maybe I didn't have enough flight time or ratings ???????
Congrats to the newbies.

Mesa's 12 year CRJ900 rate is $82 according to APC. I don't know if Mesa has any 20 year pilots, if there are, sorry. There is also a reasonable amount of soft money to be had at B6 as well. I'll be the first to admit that the pay rates here will need to improve over time, but who is going to start a company and pay everyone like rock stars from the beginning?
Believe it or not, no on at B6 wants to “Drag down the rest of the industry”. No one brags about how much they are not getting paid. Things will change, the pay will improve, or we will get a union. Nothing is going to change overnight however.

Things will change if you get a UNION, until then all you can do is plead.

Semper fi lime face. Do you shun the former NYAir guys and People's guys at CAL? How do you reconcile that some of them spent some time in the corp?
