Just to follow up a little. I will still say other airlines have the same issues (Delta in Atlanta) but we work here and we expect our airline to do better. I also think our biggest problem is how fast you can move up here. It's almost impossible to compete for the next 10 years with the "real airlines" and at some point their retirements will end and ours will start, but that is far far away. I think we still have much more room for growth and with a great CBA jetblue will not be a bad place to stay. We are financially sound paying down the debt and have a CEO that seems to want to grow so I am optimistic about our future.
The good thing is we as pilots can pick where we want to go today and that's a good thing. It is also up to JetBlue to attract and retain.

If you find the reality to be too negative, then JetBlue management is to blame. Not the pilots who are here shedding light on the reality of things at JB.

Most of the guys I fly with are NOT happy. Southerner is out of touch with reality. As are a few others that post on here in defense of JetBlue. Not to mention defending JetBlue before we finally get the contract we all deserve is completely illogical.
But as they say, you can't fix....

Ill type this slowly-
Im not miserable, but I deserve the best contract out there- what impression has B6 given you that they will ever offer an industry leading contract?
I know the NC and MEC are doing all they can and I believe we'll see a TA within 12 months.
I hope they do offer leading pay/rules/benefits and btw,at 45, even I would consider staying.
Is this at all unclear PP?

We say similar things- it seems that you have a problem with tone.

Do what you gotta do man. get out or get on board and help out. Someone with your drive would be valuable on a committee. but Attacking the guys who have rose colored glasses and constantly *****ing about it does nothing to further the position of your union and frankly just kinda makes you look foolish. Nothing personal, I know, I've pushed that ball up hill for years.
Jetblue or any other company for that matter will never willingly give you anything... That's not the way it happened at DAL FDX SWA or anywhere else. you're union will get you the best they can with the elected membership that's negotiating on your behalf. Patience is a virtue many of us have run out of, but there's not a timeline for this.
You say youre not miserable, but every single post you post is misery. Believe me, we all get it. Take a step back... breathe... have a beer. get laid. work isn't the end all be all. Contract will come. keep your panties on or find a new party. I say that while biting my lip because there's nothing worse than "well if you don't like it leave..." that's a load of horse S.
On that note, bourbon.

[QUOTE=CaptCoolHand;2345889]man we get it you're totally disenfranchised with bluejet. You deserve it... We all do. This place is rather unique in more ways than one, and one of them is we're well behind the curve in the contract dept.
