I can't recommend JetBlue at this time

Just let it go Chris. Some people can't be happy no matter what their circumstance, and they really hate it when those around them aren't as miserable as they are.
Those of us who are rational agree with you.

I don't really see a point to your post. It's all been said before.
My point is and has been, this is not the time or place to paint this company in a positive light. It works against us, even if only a small amount.
You want to argue that point or let it go? I recommend we build unity in the ways you mentioned, and also by not helping management recruit pilots, in any way, at this stage.

It's not rage, it's STRATEGY.
Don't help management recruit right now with positive public statements. Nothing more, NOTHING less.
But, you guys can't help yourselves, so go ahead, carry their water, give them all the inches they ask for, see where that gets us.
No further discussions required, all has been said.
Let me go get you a bucket. Carry on.

I don't have a problem with different opinions. I have a problem with expressing the sentiment publicly that this place is "good, but is gonna be great" or "we will have a great contract soon" or "just give them the time and it will be equal to our peers".
It's not rage, it's STRATEGY.

Le sigh
I think the problem is almost all of us agree with you but unless we goose step with your posts you start attacking. That is the problem.

Hey Southerner, are you happy to be paid 30-40% less? Besides that stupid comment, it's not that I am always unhappy, I just think it is a better strategy, right now, not to help JetBlue recruit pilots publicly until they recognize our value to the company.

Nobody said that we don't want a good CBA with good improvements. BUT, we do recognize that this is a good place to work, and better than many other places even in our current state.
If someone asks me a question, I will continue to answer them honestly. Yes, we have room to grow with our CBA, but no, this isn't a terrible place to work. Sorry, it just isn't.
Happiness is a mindset, and many of you are making yourselves miserable. Life is too short. Come to work, do your job, go home, and enjoy the fact that you work for a growing company making profits. Support ALPA. Pay your dues, and trust our elected leaders to do their jobs.
We have taken actions to improve things here. We have a union negotiating a CBA. That process is not fast. I'm sorry if you don't have experience with CBA negotiations, and you thought it would happen instantaneously. You're in for much disappointment in this industry if you think things work that way.

Some people will never get it. Southerner is a prime example of why this airline has no spine. I hope people reading this learn and understand why jetblue will never have a leading contract. It's people like Southerner who are willing to be average. An average person for a less than average airline.
