Default JetBlue Stock rated “Outperform” despite WX Meltdown

Good to see that analyst do not share the same drive-by media attitude towards JetBlue:

After a lengthy delay a deplaning customer told me yesterday:
"I have been flying JetBlue for the last 7 years, delays or not - you are still the best."

Pretty good considering you've only been flying for 6. You're such a B.S. artist, Gman.

Not bashing here, stuff like this happens. However, the article that you posted was from the 16th, and cancellations are now running through Monday. Probably not a long term ongoing loss, but certainly a short term loss, bigger than the article from the 16th.

You kinda remind me of an old flight manager I knew who had a motto "the answer's no, what's the question?"

I bet there were lots of people who felt like you towards SWA in days past.

Having said that, jetBlue has some work to do regarding all of the bad publicity they've been getting. Being honest with the public, which seems what they're doing, will help a great deal.

A good fare sale, with statements that they are trying to "make up" with their cusatomers, might go a long way to that end.

Fare sale. That's all the consumers care about after all. Every one of those stranded pax during the storm was looking for the best price or they'd have been over at EWR on CAL.

I don't always like your style, but I mostly agree with your underlining points, however in this case I think you are wrong. For even money there are many people who will fly JetBlue for the on board experience. I'm a former legacy guy but ended up flying on JetBlue once. On the flight I was on the airborne service was better than average for a legacy.

Are you sure he didn't say:

"...you rule..."?

Funny how all the rest of the union Neanderthal operations managed and didn't implode during the storm. How did Southwest fare? God help you if they truly get annoyed with JB and go in for the kill.
