I think they run 2-3 mock results so people can get an idea of their bid. Or at a minimum catch errors they’ve made.

it's always easier to complain than to do the due diligence. There have been several avenues to get help with bidding, yet all folks want to do is complain until someone hear their cry and do it for them. sigh. Blame the contract and ALPA and the software set up and the puppy stuck in the lav, because that's always easier than picking an avenue to get clarification. Smh I only watch the videos and got a full understanding of how everything works and how displacement could spread like wild fire, and it's my first time even looking at JB system bid.

I'm not saying everyone should get it the first time, I'm saying there were ways to get help. Stop complaining.

Other jb crackpipe says 260 upgrades, downgrades, and transitions?
Not sure if that's training events or just motion, but if includes the LGB to LAX base transition that's really not significant.

heard this as well. but slightly different. My version was 260 upgrades (seems insane to me) and then vacancies would then be filled with people in the pool. (Seems ludicrous).

I think your version is slightly more realistic than this one. This information can from some who knows someone that was in training last week and that was after in instructor meeting.

And to add to the mystery; what happened to the Incentive Line bid for Oct?? Last month the incentive Bid closed on the 22nd, are we not doing Incentive for Oct bid??

I would think those extra vacancies would be filled by those who had a vacancy bid in or voluntary displacement bid. Sounds like your typical van driver rumor.

I would assume they want the bid published so people know where they will be before they bid on an incentive line. As someone who has taken every month off made available I'm hoping Monday brings the displacement results followed by October's incentive bid.

I thought I read somewhere, bid results will be published around September 7th? Maybe a system chief update I believe.
