My guess is they will keep some transcons into LGB, but everything else will go away or move to LAX.

This guy on a.net does a ton of analysis on B6 routes. He said last week: “As I posted on the JetBlue thread, I think the axe is going to drop on LGB pretty soon. August is showing 2x weekly on JFK-LGB and nothing to BOS. That's even less frequency than to
RNO/ONT/BZN.”

I’d be surprised if we even kept a few token transcons at LGB. I’m guessing our future SoCal presence is LAX, BUR, and maybe a few flights to ONT, possibly SNA if we ever get slots, using the 220 for a transcon to JFK from there.

And LGB is done in Oct. Everything moving to LAX. Growing to 70 flights a day at LAX.

While I feel for those who are based and find LGB convenient, that place has been a thorn in our side for years.

Surprised they aren’t at least keeping LGB as a blue city. That tells you how strained the relationship got I guess.

LGB basically flipped us the bird every chance they could. It will be telling of hands behind the curtain if WN is able to make it work when we couldn't. The Pandemic is both a blessing and a curse in B6's playbook to date, hopefully they continue to make bold plays on VFR days.
