Ask yourself this question Hill,
If Robin gets the ability to fly to Europe, will he take 1% and codeshare, or take the full fare?
Btw, Im ignoring nothing- you're the guy quoting old executives.
Go
Robin has had the ability to serve Hawaii and Keflavik with very little investment for years. He has had the ability to serve Europe for YEARS also, but that would have required an investment equal to every other transatlantic operating airliner.

On both accounts, no investment, no risk. Just codesharing for low-cost, low-risk revenue.

If approved, do you think robin will go for the 99 or the 1?

Do you understand this point on codeshares Hill?
Im trying to paint this as simple as possible. Dont know why you'd hitch your wagon to BD?!
We aren't saying BJ owes us ETOPS, you said if they COULD they WOULD.

Well, THEY CAN but DON'T.

Okay so your argument is that he SHOULD invest in TransAtlantic flying?
Yea, id like that too.
And would you agree that IF he does, that he'll probably take the big money?

You said, when B6 can, they WILL.

Well, they CAN but DON'T.

Is that seriously not clear?

Man you are slow today.
I said when they develop the ability (ETOPS), then yes, they will.
You're arguing that they shouldve developed the ability already.
2 different arguments BD. And I suspect you know this because your point on codeshares blew up- so nice sidestep.
Tell me that you see the difference in the 2.
What a waste of time- sorry guys.

Man you are tight with management. Makes me nervous being on this board and you tell him others things to his face. Blue in your avatar and apparently an open relationship with management.....what else have you talked about?

If that is the case what is making you vote yes? The sub par work rules or industry trailing pay and profit sharing?
Codesharing allows for many things.
Scope is not there to prevent codesharing, its to prevent fee for departures.
Now this TA limits codesharing but actually prohibits fee for departure.
You know the difference right POG?
Now if you want to talk about profit sharing and pay, we can, just tell me that you know the difference between FFD and Codeshare and then you'll understand the need for Scope.
I know this is complicated, but we can take each section at a time.
Fair enough? Or do you just want to vent?
