Hopefully the MEC gives us an update on the lack of progress on Thursday night. Big nor'easter headed up the Northeast on Friday into the weekend.

Glad you aren’t taking it personally from those vested in JB. I’m happy for you. You deserve good pay and QOL.

Maybe someday JB will be more of a destination than a stopover for most.

Congrats to the pilot headed to SWA, good luck to ya.
So now that SPA is moving forward how do we all feel it will affect our position at the table? I feel it raised the "peer set" average but at the same time the new pay rates are very close to our current rates (until top out) I can see the company using SPA rates and LCC A320 carrier comparison semantics to tell us to pound sand. Thoughts?

Spirit is not peer set.

I agree...and most here agree....but this POS company will not hesitate to now call them our peer set. Except they make too much money.

When it comes to safety, professionalism, and customer service mgmt wants us to be “delta peers”

But with Chinese pilot pay.

Wow, you're really negative. Live the values, it's just business. All the extra compensation withheld from you doesn't affect your family or future retirement quality of life.

(*#AGREE*)

I really like the last sentence, but Chinese pilots probably make more than we do.....

Nothing was stopping the company from doing that before. In fact I believe they did on the last PEA. Spirit’s higher rates only help us. They were WAY behind before this TA. They’re still not where they should be, and hopefully they fix that down the line, but I understand why they voted yes. Also Spirit is an ULCC not LCC.

They should have voted No. I hope our people have more fortitude than to settle for table scraps.
