So I'm sticking it out here cause at some point we'll catch up. This industry is like a game of musical chairs. Everyone goes through their crap and were it now. Tell me any other airline that hasn't been through what we in now. Its a zero sum game, hoping around is just a venture in futility unless said airline you want to go through relives you from commuting. At some point we'll probably merge or get bought and be equally circle jerking each other like all the other guys everywhere else. Until it all restarts again.
The biggest foible of us pilots is how amazingly fickle and bereft of the history of this industry.

Probably the last place I would go to is SW. But to each their own and good luck. Lets not forget they had a pretty ugly negotiations period with calling for a no confidence vote for GK with ad's in newspaper calling him out, and telling passengers their bags will get lost cause ground crew were not given pay raises. A massively outdated revenue platform, and its like flying regionals with 3-4 sometimes 5x a day.

Again, just sharing my thought process for other fence sitters to consider.

Like I said before, I never thought I’d leave for SWA either, but then I got to thinking. 3-4, sometimes 5 legs? I’m LGB based, so I do 2 types of flying, 3-4 legs a day up and down the coast, and transcon red eyes. So all I’m really doing is giving up red eyes.

Welcome to SWA. Glad to see you're not letting a few people throwing out the same tired SWA hate speech discourage you. You'll find quite more diversity in trips than many posters on APC would ever lead you to believe. As you're LGB based I you assume you live in the LA Basin. With the recent announcement of the LAX base, your timing appears to be impeccable to get on board as I think LAX will end up being very junior. Congrats!
