It was not the only thing but it sure helped him and I like the guy.
Take Jeb Bush, literally groomed to be president with a huge resumé in politics and it all came to an end when Trump called him low energy. Bam Jeb Bush is placed of the defense and it’s over for him. Now he didn’t say anything that wasn’t true but the point is he said it.

You had me Q.... til you brought into the discussion the name of the Abomination. Which doesn’t surprise me since most American men voted for this Thing. And since pilots are mostly males, binary and conservative, the present occupant of the White House had to have been like catnip.

Who uses gender and race to label people to achieve divisiveness? leftists.
Which system of government has caused more death than any other system of government? Socialism and Communism. Remember the USSR (Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics), Nazis (National SOCIALISM), Mau of COMMUNIST China, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.... leftism.
ANTIFA and other violent domestic terrorists like the Weather Underground...(Hillary’s mentor, btw).... Leftists.
Total oppression of free speech on college campuses.... Leftists.
Defender of religious systems that enslave women by mutilating their reproductive parts... Leftists.
1984 style censorship via Facebook, Google, etc... Leftists.
Safe spaces... Leftists.
History has taught is several things in every instance without exception. Mankind cannot be trusted to self govern. Therefore, only a system of equality where we all have equal power (checks and balances) works. Everything the left stands for (government can run your life better, strong centralized government, utilitarian Marxism, state granted "rights", etc.) has never historically worked nor can it. Remember that Obama and Hillary are part of the party that wanted to keep slavery and supported the KKK. Don't believe me? go read the national archives on who voted for what.
I would love to debate this with you. I am well studied in history :-). I find leftists to be most uneducated against the litmus test of history and logic.
