This is a thread on BP right now actually. I believe the changeover occurred on 1/1/2018. This is a new interpretation of the PEA. I suggest you join the growing number of pilots and file a PDR on the ALPA site for the impending grievance.
But before you do that you have to email your chief pilot and try to get it resolved that way first. If you don’t get it resolved it moves to the next step in the grievance process.

Spirit contract
Spirit has an AIP.
Will spirit pilots be better paid than us?
Frontier will likely be next.
As much as I hate the idea of potentially being the lowest paid A-320 operator, this will only make our bargaining position stronger.

I hope spirit gets a market rate delta contract. It raises the bar and makes us lower on the totem poll for any interested applicants. This could potentially be yuuuge for us.

All other things being equal....don't you think JB is an overall better company than Spirit?

I don't equate better product to better job. I used to work at NetJets - one of the best products on the planet but it wasn't a very good job.
We'll see what the Spirit AIG has in it and compare it to JBs current compensation and work rules. I won't speculate on what our "future contract" will have.
It is within 99% certainty that whatever is in the Spirit AIG will put it ahead of JB in almost every regard.

Maybe a better company to fly on as a customer...but assuming that Spirit's AIP is near market rate, then absolutely not. I also don't see Jetblue in any rush to push a contract through, hope I'm wrong.

I've come to the realization that we could all do a new CrAAndle crawl ( JB version - 4 engine taxi: engines, apu, and RAT) but it wouldn't make a difference. The problem is much deeper than "greedy" pilot's. We could have a contract tomorrow and it wouldn't change a thing how this company is run.
When the gate agent showed up last night (at posted boarding time- she knew it was delayed, but all boards indicated "on-time") all I heard was that she hadn't had a break all day. Crews around the gate area discussing how CS screwed up their schedule last week during the storm...try fixing that. ( sure I'm on here spouting about it, but that's slightly different than at the gate)
I'm not going to say this place is a _______( Haiti or other African nations- man's an idiot) , but RUDDERLESS is good.
