Not sure what federal poverty line you are referring to, but for a family of 4, it’s actually $24,600, or about half of what a FYFO makes at JB.

No one said you were rich. But poverty? Far from it. Yes, NY is an expensive place to live. So is AK and HI. And all of them have one thing in common - you can choose to live there, or elsewhere.
(FWIW - If you earn less than $45,510 in NY, which I doubt you do, you qualify for WIC. It’s really beneficial for the kids.

Well, I WAS joking. But since you got me thinking about how I'm soooo rich yet somehow not exactly sitting on piles of cash at the end of the month I thought I'd do some digging.
Turns out a year 1 FO with 2 kids is right at the federal poverty line. If he has more kids he qualifies for WIC. This is Federal mind you and doesnt account for zip code. In NYC the estimates are you need 3 times the federal numbers to survive, or about $150k. So, If I live in NYC (you know, our largest base) and I have 2 kids, I actually am below the poverty line.
Shame on YOU for defending these abysmal wages.
Here are the links since you need to educate yourself.

My bet for the future is the 321lr with a bunch more mint seats and the return of the 30 leased 190s and going with the e190 v2
But I have been wrong many times.
