On another note, I guess the information campaign is working. I had two buddies tell me they saw the billboard on the Belt Parkway and are booking other airlines for their vacations next year. They don't give a d

Never heard of folks booking away from a product because of perceived labor tensions. I would bet that your buddies found cheaper travel elsewhere.

Really? I won't shop at Target after they busted their union a ways back. I didn't watch MLB after the 94 strike for about 10 years

But choosing to book away from an airline because their labor is asking for a fair contract? Not saying it can’t happen, just saying I don’t know such irrational people.
The point of our billboards isn’t to get people to book away from JetBlue, it’s too pressure management and marketing.

You’re going to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars... on a carrier to get you to you one of one or maybe two vacations for the year. You think carrier A has labor tension and may disrupt your time off? Carrier B charges more but flies on time... no labor strife. Where do you spend your money?

I wish I knew more specifics, but I did take a look back at the negotiations updates. The negotiations over Scope appear to have ended before filing for mediation. That could mean it's mostly complete, but it may not. Since the latest updates have all referenced negotiating issues like compensation and benefits, I think it's reasonable to conclude that most of the scope section is completed. Perhaps it's one of those sections the NC and company are meeting outside of mediation to finalize the TA language.
It's pretty typical to have many sections remain open until the whole thing is TA'd. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, except there's no set date to open up the presents. It's a frustratingly long process, with little information to allow us to quantify progress. At least in this case we can do more than just send a wishlist to the North Pole and actually get "Santa" to meet our proposals.
