Negotiated doesn’t mean adequate. Not saying that we don’t have excellent guys working the contract negotiations for us, but this will be the one chance we get to ensure that JetBlue airplanes are flown exclusively and in perpetuity by JetBlue pilots, so all we can do is wait and see.

Remember that scope relaxation was negotiated and agreed upon by the unions at every other carrier who has a million subcontractors.

So: when this thing comes out the first few pages will have all the information you need to determine whether you even need to look at the rates.

This was one of the darkest spots in our professions history. This “commuter feed” morphed from little turboprops to 76 seat jets and screwed people...hard.
This is the most important thing you’ll read all day.

Scope occurred because it was an economic reality that a 737 from Pocatello to Salt Lake 4 times a day was unsustainable.

But with a Metro it was.

And the mainline guys thought they were too far above flying a metro liner. Heck pay me enough I'll fly a 172 around.

More to do with the overhead that came with DAL/Western compared to Skywest.

On another note, I guess the information campaign is working. I had two buddies tell me they saw the billboard on the Belt Parkway and are booking other airlines for their vacations next year. They don't give a d
amn about our cause, but they want to get every minute of their vacation.

Oh yeah, ok. You call them as *you* see them. People afflicted with confirmation bias are not aware they are infected. You are a perfect example.

Pick up "Hard Landing". It's a $15 Ebook. You'll know what you don't know after reading that.
