Can't find Concur on the iPad. I now have a receipt I'd like to expense. Is there a procedure to get Concur? Or was it supposed to automatically be on the Homescreen?

You can also go to HelloJetBlue and search for Concur. You can get Concur just from the App Store too.

On HJB it's listed as "Expense Reporting (Concur)" so it's under E when you can't find it under C

Today's Tales on Reserve:

DRO only published 33 Minutes late.

Flica lists 9 available RSV pilots for today ( 18 Required = Grid RED)

7 of 9 have already worked today and/or have been assigned trips for tomorrow.

Last 2 pilots are 1-day pilots

So when the company reflects on this summer's RSV coverage they're probably getting the 9 number ( which is good for them). When in fact it should be the drastically low number of 2 ( even those pilots are useless).

side note: why are pilots accepting a duty day over 16 hours?

Thats a good question about going over 16 hours. I've heard guys being told that this is ok. Once they get called out they're subject to a 2 hour extension according to FAR 117. I've told multiple FO's that this is NOT the case. The most time you're available for duty from the start of your RAP to the end of whatever assignment you've been give is 16 hours. The 16 hour thing is usually the most controlling time once you've been called off RSV for a pairing assignment. The flight hours doesnt usually play or FDP based on Table B isn't usually a player either. I've heard CS will tell the pilot "Oh Table B applies so you're good for an extension past 16 hours". Nope. Another good one is, "Well you can waive your 10 hour rest." Once again, Nope. It's usually the less than 1 year FO that doesnt have 121 experience that's getting talked into this.

It may be legal to take a 2hr extension to go to 18hr, but it's not required. It takes very little backbone to turn it down, go to a hotel, and go home the next day. I did it twice last month, and if I'm asked to go beyond 16hr again this month I'd imagine I will not feel it's safe to be on duty that long in August as well. Every CA I've flown with when I've been scheduled to come close to 16hr has voiced no objections when I've said that I'm not good to go beyond that point.

Absolutely. Ive sat in the Chief's office when he explained "Jetblue has an agreement with ALPA to NOT work pilots past 16 hours". 16 hours is a long day.

16 hours plus a 2 hour extension is 100 % legal in certain conditions , just had his happen at UAL for the first time in my career , 117 does allow for it. It's basically your max duty time from table B , plus always having the ability to do a 2 hour extension, hence 16 + 2 = 18 , Under certain conditions as a reserve, it's legit , I called all kinds of people cause I didn't believe it my self , then accepted the extension, called alpa and other people in the know the day after to tripppe check this .

It's legit under certain conditions , however I couldn't speak for what happened in your FO's case.
