No, not semantics. You used a word that I didn't and then attributed it to me. I'm sorry your reading comprehension is like my paycheck and sucks. I wasn't talking about them stealing money from our pay checks, and nowhere in my post did it say that. The context of my post was lanyards and negotiations. JetBlue management is negotiating against ALPA. In other words, trying to withhold and keep as much of the pie as they can and taking pieces from us where possible. It's a game of give and takes. Company wants to take. ALPA wants company to give. Supply, demand, unity, and resolve will drive who gives/takes what. That's not at all discussing theft. Keep up the good work.

Again HB, congrats on all of the wonderful things your seniority has gained for you. We aren't all in your boat, and "unity" is about improving conditions for the ENTIRE pilot group.

In addition, is it not also reasonable that someone with a peer market rate CBA could use some of the increased pay rate to work a few less days per month and still come out way ahead?
You are so far over your head with these adult discussions that you simply embarrass yourself every time you try and discuss compensation and work rules.

I'm all about seniority and I am all about improving our lives. Are you saying we should all spread the wealth and all do reserve, and work some weekends pick the holiday you want to work just to make it even for everybody. I don't think so.....All I am saying is more days off for all would be exactly how I explained it. I understand seniority and juniority. Many do not.
It's funny how guys expect seniority in the first year and half two years and thats their compliant....Rank and file just like the military right Slimothy?

You are such a management tool. Do you happen to be part of a large proportion of OUR pilot group that has to fly 10 hour 3-day trips? How about the large number of 4 day A320 trips that pay less than 20-22 hours (depending on what our new CBA calendar day rig is)?
In addition, is it not also reasonable that someone with a peer market rate CBA could use some of the increased pay rate to work a few less days per month and still come out way ahead?

So I want more days off and now I am a MGMT tool? I choose to be a senior FO rather than Captain. Exercise seniority rather than juniority? I love how junior Captains complain about how junior they are and how bad their life is when no one held a gun to their head and told them to bid Captain? Upgrade no thank you so am i suppose to give some of my days off for others less fortunate?

So what you did wrong was get sarcastic about how many of your fellow pilots lose an extra 2-3 days a month at home with their families, since you are apparently unaffected in your mind. Which is probably not true in the first place for 97% of our pilots.

Why do you not wear your lanyard?
You do realize your lanyardlessness and lack of unity is making you miserable to be around. It's really sad to see. Do you want the number to your ALPA rep? ALPA provides free lanyards to those in need, as well as negotiations on the path to a CBA.
JetBlue is trying to take/withold money and QOL from you. B6ALPA is trying to get you more money and QOL. Which side are you on? (Rhetorical question, I know the answer).

I predict that having his @ss kicked on the line will point him in the right direction. I could be wrong though, some like to be submissive.
