Just came from recurrent. The mgmt debrief I was told, get ready for this. We, JetBlue are in a great position because the legacies could go out of business because they will not be able to hire enough pilots to fill the retirement voids. Yes. Bankrupt. So United & Delta with your awesome CBA's, good luck in a few years

If our cost advantage over the legacies is only 9% while we are compensated 30-40% less than their pilots, maintenance is run on the cheap, and there is duct tape holding the stretched-thin operation together, then the problems are systemic and originate from LSC. The ELT is an epic failure if that is the case. How about we grow a pair and have a vote of no confidence like the American pilots did, ALPA??

The pilots at JB are the biggest group of self loathers I have ever seen. I honestly think most would be happier if bad things happened. It's like you wish for it. Do you really want things to be better? I think they want to see all benefits go away, pay to decrease, furloughs, then bankruptcy followed by shutting down. That's the only way guys will finally be able to be happy. Seriously, if your never going to be happy at this ****ty company then just leave. Everyone is hiring, please just go.

Just filled out my apps today. 10 year FO. After seeing 2nd year pay at Delta & United is about par to what I make now, its an easy choice. #90ish in JFK and I still can't hold commutable nonredeye 4 days. Prob cause they don't exist Maybe the bid advisor will 95hrs+ this summer.
The best is when I was in the jump with United and they asked "so why do you guys support Open Skies & NAI? Why do you code share with Emirates?"
