That happens on the Bus in JFK all the time. There are a couple of dbags that do that crap! They (or their Flica bots) pick up trips in open time within seconds and put it on the tradeboard 2 mins later.
I don't get it.

Now there's unity for you. Working the system to the detriment of your colleagues.

Just flew with a super senior CA that was on flica the entire time during the flight. I glanced over and noticed a bunch of VDA as well. No lanyard. Just sayin.

Picking up a trip after an alert and asking for a later/earlier show, very greedy. You're on flica for once and get a decent trip instead of the regular Cartel guys and try to trade it, very greedy. Where in writing is this not allowed. I put almost my entire schedule up on the board after the bid results. Is that greedy?

All they are saying is that it's a pretty selfish to scoop a trip up that met your criteria before even looking at it. Then taking your time to see if you want to even fly the trip, then ultimately just saying "meh, not what I wanted" and just plopping it on the trade board ten minutes later. For example, meanwhile the other guy who actually wanted that trip now just blocked out and doesn't even have a chance at it ten minutes later on the trade board. It's basically like walking into a building 3 ft behind another person, and having them just ignore you and drop the door in your face. Yah there's no rule about holding a door for someone but, it's the decent thing to do to another human. If you can't see the how this isn't kosher, then your basically that guy 3ft in front of me walking into the building.

It works a lot form me. Im @100, 10 years FO and still can't hold what I want. Some months my life schedule is more fluid than most so I need to change my schedule week to week. But the trade board for me as long as you're reasonable. Or another trick which may be frowned upon is swapping a crap trip for a cherry trip when I need to drop it but the RSV coverage is Red and I know someone will pick it up from the trade board

Nope not greedy at all, that's your prerogative.
