Not sure what 'tea leaves' you are smoking but our "first" CBA is being benchmarked by what is standard within the industry.
If a decoupling occurs it will not be because a group of BlueJet pilots wanted it to occur it will be simply because the industry benchmark is what the industry benchmark is or is not.
I have openly supported 90/69 for over a decade. I have also supported what works for blueJet pilots that were not industry standard i.e. a daily and duty period min on multi day trips. I would support 90/69 even after the NC reports that it is or is not standard in the business these days.
Also is you don't like being replied with "wrong" then don't start a post with 10% "right".

Page 11 of the ALPA contract comparison is what the industry is doing. What I have learned is we are not looking to create new ground in our first CBA and is a 'me too' (what is standard) negotiations.
PilotWhiner seems to laying the ground work to blame jetblue pilots for the current state of the industry and for 'us' not attempting to set new standards with our first CBA.
90/69 was the standard in 2008. What is it now? If it is not 90/69 that is hardly mine or any other Jetblue pilot's fault and for PilotWhiner to start to point the finger at Jetblue pilots is ridiculous.

We agree. But you are still whining.
I would like to see 90/69 differential. Then you whined even more!
The 90% differential is the current E190 rate you are operating under right now. But then you whined about some secret group that will under cut the E190 and somehow it is these dorks that will divide the pilot group. When in fact it is you that is dividing the group. You whine about this group that will divide the pilot group but forget to whine about the NC or the MEC who will present the differential to the pilot group based upon what they can achieve based upon market rates.
Your whiney finger should be pointed at market conditions not the NC and or the MEC or at all Jetblue pilots.
NEWS FLASH ... We are not setting the metric the NC is using to make the case FOR US. We are using the market place. In order for your whiny fear of a XX% differential to get to the pilots the NC has agree first and then MEC has to vote on it. But you know that and that is why you are simply a whiner. Always have been and always will be.

I'll skip over the name calling, I thought we were professional pilots that can debate things but that is clearly not the case for you. (I still think you are snoopy from bluepilots if not you two could be brothers)
One last time you support the industry benchmark of 90/69
If we match let's say United's A320 pay you would support a 90/69 difference Captain to FO on that aircraft.
(Am I correct so far because I would as well)
Now here is where your post gets fun.
We are currently nonstandard in the fact(among other things)that the 190 is coupled to the bus by having a set 10% difference(you are not a fan)
I notice you say 90/69 all the time which is great but what you are really saying is.
You want industry standard 90/69 on the bus which would be a nice payraise to where it should be. You know they won't let the 190 pay go that high so since it is at the top of the pay scales now (it is the industry benchmark) it would be decoupled and left exactly where it is. This would give all of the money to the bus and move us to industry standard. There will be a pretty big difference in pay betweeen the 190/320 but we will be industry standard.
If that is the case and it might be. We better fix the 2 year seatlock or that will be very unfair for the new guys that can't bid off the 190 while jr guys are getting hired and going to the bus. I assume you will want to fix that.
You are correct I have no say about the NC or MEC heck I am not even an ALPA volunteer anymore(that's what happens when you use your name on Internet forums) I have filled out the surveys and made my opinions know but that's where it stops. In the end I am afraid you are the same as me the whiner we both get one vote.
I will give you credit. You managed to get some version of the word whiner 6 times in one post. That sir is impressive. Now my kid is whining she is only 16 months but already takes after me. So I have to go.
Have a good day bluejetdork
