Definitely, this is probably the safest time to make the hop in this industry.

I hope that reasonable heads prevail and we get a fair contract that puts us on par with our peers. If we don't I think a lot will be Audi 5000.

So Profit Sharing checks are going out today. If the average JetBlue pilot paid $200 in ALPA dues just in profit sharing. That's $640,000 to ALPA. We don't have a CBA? Please, bring on the "Man, you don't even know comments, man". "Man, it's a dog world out there, man".

They better hurry up with that CBA. Now that we lost our profit sharing, there won't be a million dollar windfall each year.

"we still don't have a CBA"

Well, this is obviously JBALPA's fault. The company has only had every contract request since July... I'm sure it takes more than 5 months to run a math problem and come back to the table with a response...

Since you seem to have such an issue with the way negotiations are going why don't you pick up the phone and call our negotiating committee, see how things are going? You won't... you'll just sit back and bash the guys working on your behalf and make assumptions.

you don't like paying dues? awe... go to one of the other airlines that don't have a union.. OH SHOOT! Because the D.R. was awesome.

Profit sharing goes out tomorrow Bubba. Today's the regular paycheck for the second half of October.

If you truly feel you're not getting the value you deserve for your ALPA dues, I urge you to get involved. Contact your LEC reps, ask them tough questions, volunteer for a committee. P2P is looking for volunteers right now, and all it takes is a phone call every other week that usually lasts less than an hour. Anyone can find the time for that.

Don't get cynical, get involved.

Cool,

I have spoken NC memebers. I have been assured we're kicking a$$ and taking names. But, well...that was before we changed horses mid-stream. I bet you could poll 100 jblue pilots and 1% could name someone on the NC. How about MEC? I'd say 2% could name 1.

That's why the TA passes and the CBA will blow. I would rather take a sub par DR PEA and keep my union dues, versus waiting 5 years for The same deal in a CBA.

A ****load of taxes taken out of my PS check. Also, is it normal to have child support taken out? Can't remember that ever happening with my former companies

Ha! Save 2% in union dues and leave 30% total compensation and benefits on the table by staying non-union. Genius!

You guys should really just stop engaging him. Way too far gone to save.
